We are now about half way through the Sugar Free January Challenge. How are you feeling?
This was a tough week for me because we had a lot going on at work this week. We hosted some of our foreign colleagues, so there were way more lunches and dinners out than I would normally have in one week. For the most part I tried to stick to healthier options, but when the lunch is catered there is not really much you can do.
It is so important that when you can’t stick to your plan 100% of the time that you don’t beat yourself up about it. Remind yourself that it isn’t the end of the world and your next choice will be a healthy one.
If you’ve been having any struggles that you’ve over come as a part of this challenge and want to share, feel free to post in the comments below! Eliminating sugar from your diet for this long isn’t an easy task and you are not alone.
Sugar FreeWeek 4 Meal Plan
The Week 4 meal plan has some great and easy lunches and dinners that I am excited to share. Something I really like to do is take a really great sandwich and turn it into a salad. So this week’s meal plan includes a CUBANO SALAD, along with some other great prep ahead and quick cooking weeknight meals.
As always, make sure to read through the recipes before hand so you know ahead of time if you are making substitutions. Then update the grocery lists. All of the recipes can be doubled or multiplied if you are cooking for others as well.
